In my college time, I passed CET-4 and CET-6, both with 60.5. And one my classmate, both with 60. CET forces you to have a base of vocabulary volume.

For the 1st 4 months of my job career, I was required to translate. 3 years later, I and my team colleagues finished 3 periods of translate selection. All about our job object, hydrophone.

When I left my 1st employer, one big institure in space industry, I expected to go into one western company. And I found oral English is very important. But my listening and speaking is the two weakest ones in my listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

/ K* l1 n9 o6 V0 ~; k; v3 B+ _In 2007, I found WWEnglish.com. The making of a nation, about US history, was there. One of VOA special English. one in one week. Every one lasted 15min. You know, history is one of my most important interest. Not continuely, I listened on my way to company and home. This is true until 2010. Before listening, I read first. Once, I dreamt I had a son. He is dark. I told my wife. She is dark too. In fact, it is a man in The making of a nation. At that time, my wife worked with IBMers. At first, her English is better. Then she admitted mine is better.8 b3 S$ |( @! O+ G5 ^6 k2 a

In these days, sometimes, on my way to company or home, I made sentences in English about interesting things. One good ad slogan or other. And, I love write something, e.g. poems. I tried translate them into English ones, even if not poem any longer. Giving same intention is enough.

* w# {+ a5 {+ Y7 G: vLast November, I went into my current company. A bit giant of US, made a strategic alliance with our mother company. The 1st step of cooperation is placed in Beijing child company, where I work. Work with americans. Speak, listen, and email.
: K( I/ }) c: \0 ?- sIn my 1st day, there was a meeting with americans. Except GM, many Chinese colleagues is not good at English. So the mother company dispatch a man as translator. In that meeting, I spoken much. Since no one can, I must do.

And now, 1 year passed. I have to say my listening is still not good. There is a great improvement in my writing. Last week, my team had a week meeting. A big man from US attended. Although GM is at meeting and can help me, I spoken English from beginning. Later I found I had no impress about asking. But at that time, I gave right response.
