Missions:

The incumbent is responsible for planning and managing the efficient production activities of the Manufacturing and Assembly Operations. The incumbent has overall responsibility for cost effectiveness and attainment of all customer/company schedules productivity at the right level of quality.

This responsibility includes direct supervision of Production and Assembly including all direct Machine Shop, Assembly, Test, Planning, Process Engineering, Shipping and Receiving, Inspection, Maintenance, HSE and production employees.

Main Responsibilities:

·           Maintain continuous dialogue and communication with the General Manager as needed to keep him apprised of the status of safety, quality, production, schedules, loads, problems and opportunities available to maximize efficient operations and to enhance the overall operations of the company manufacturing operations. Displays a personal and professional commitment to the continuous improvement process

·           Develop the Annual Budget and Industrial Plan for approval. Manage the implementation ensuring the achievement of the targets.

·           Manage, organize and coordinate the implementation and development of projects and systems to ensure the improvement and rationalization of processes and compliance with the goals of flexibility and optimization of costs and production capacity.

·           Lead the implementation and development of systems and quality management activities, security, maintenance and logistics in coordination with the different areas keeping the area and stocks under control by ensuring the availability of materials and products at the best conditions of cost, quality and lead time.

·           Close follow up of the manufacturing area key indicators

·           Select, train, develop, evaluate and motivate an effective team of supervisors and production employees. Continuously works to upgrade the skills level.

·           Contributes to the accuracy and effectiveness of the planning and goal setting process by developing, recommending, implementing and achieving operational plans, goals, budgets, and capital requirements. Measurement of success includes the measurement of shipment on-time performance, direct labor productivity, world class quality levels and leading edge product cycle times.

·           Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and general processes of the Company in its area of responsibility, being the driver of the improvements proposed by staff.

Requirements:

·           Bachelor degree or above, preferable major in Electronic Engineering related engineering major

·           Over 10 years experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years experience in a supervisory role in electronic industry

·           Familiar with oriental company’s culture

·           Strong leadership, interpersonal communications, and teamwork skills

·           Knowledge of manufacturing of electronic products

Excellent English, both oral and written
