"稍多"的翻譯一般是用more:

個人感覺整句應(yīng)譯為——極快的刀片可以使機床上的刀片切下只有幾絲厚的切屑，使用戶得到良好的加工表面。借用ValleyViews 大俠的話For your reference only

a few在修飾可數(shù)名詞時，名詞需為復(fù)數(shù)。，按照大俠的翻譯“幾絲”是否說明了這個數(shù)據(jù)已經(jīng)超過了百分之一。序數(shù)詞分子超過了1，是否應(yīng)該加“s“，但hundredth沒有加“s“，我們該如何理解呢？大俠能否詳細(xì)解釋下嗎？沒有別的意思，只是想弄明白。

We use a little with singular uncountable nouns. We use a few with plural countable nouns:

Mary said nothing, but she drank some tea and ate a little bread.

We stayed a few days in Florence and visited the museums.
