Boeing has applied for a US patent for its own "roadable" aircraft, or flying car. Its an autogyro with a scissor-type, deployable main rotor (that looks to be asymmetrical) that the company says is better than competing storable and transportable designs in which the rotors fold at the hub or telescope out.
Anyone have a clue as to what Boeing might be thinking?

看過中央10臺，我愛發明，里面有一集介紹過旋翼機的。只提供向前的動力，靠旋翼在前進時自身轉動產生的升力抬升，對整機重量和旋翼強度的要求很高，感覺這個比較難達到。

這不是小孩玩的可以折疊的剪刀嘛

怕是很難實用，這是高載荷的關鍵零件，結構復雜了，可靠性太差

對這個不懂，感覺強度達到，是關鍵的吧
